Dear Bolahun Family,

Please accept our sincere appreciation for your overwhelming support for Convention 2021. We succeeded in executing our first in-person and Remote Convention because of your love for Bolahun and commitment to BWW. We thank you for your support and commitment. Our decision to implement a proposal by Mr. Richard Zayzay to establish a Social Media platform for dissemination of information among our membership proved to be very effective in reaching out to many of our Bolahun Families. Thanks to Dr. Waritay for setting up the WhatsApp platform. Our host chapter headed by Dr. Lanfia T. S. Waritay, President Garwee Kebeh Johnson, and dedicated DE/PA chapter members did a fantastic job executing Convention 2021.

Convention Highlights:

  • Elections: The Convention agreed to postpone elections at convention 2021 and instead completed the election of our three elections commissioners (Dr. Lanfia T.S. Waritay, Mr. Harry Moniba, and Uncle Isaac Manjoe). These Commissioners will develop Election Guidelines for us to approve. Election of National Officers will be held in June at Convention 2022.

  • Venues:  We are planning to have two conventions in 2022. The first one will be hosted by the Minnesota Chapter in June of 2022. The second will be in Bolahun in December of 2022. Exact dates will be announced as soon as we finalize discussions with Host Planners.

  • National Officers: at Convention 2021, National Vice President Dr Vivian Korpo Ballah-Swaray, informed the convention that she is stepping down as National Vice President. The delegates granted her request and Elected Mr. Amos Bongolee as Interim National Vice President.  We are grateful to Dr. Swaray for committing more than 4 years to BWW as National Vice President. We are excited to welcome Mr. Amos Bongolee as Interim National Vice President.   Mr. Joseph Senah was elected Interim Financial Secretary. We are also excited to welcome Mr. Senah as Interim National Financial Secretary.

  • Keynote Speakers: Our appreciation to two of our own committed members who delivered keynote addresses. Rev Dr. Sam Kparku Ndorleh at the Business Session and Dr Vivian Korpo Ballah-Swaray at the banquet. Both speakers delivered compelling motivational messages. We are blessed to have these two distinguished individuals as members of BWW.

  • Financial Goal: Our financial Goal lunched at Convention 2021 is $35,000. Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars. Of this amount, $20,000. Is for the St Agnes Elementary School Building Project and $15,000 Fifteen Thousand for St Mary Church Renovation.  Up to date, we have raised $15000 Fifteen Thousand Dollars. Our goal is to raise the remaining $20,000. Twenty Thousand Dollars by January of 2021 to complete executing both projects before assembling in Minnesota for Convention 2022.

Bolahun Family we appreciate your support and commitment. Please let us meet this financial challenge by continuing your generous contributions to accomplish our financial goal of $20,000. (Twenty Thousand dollars) as planned. Our ability to succeed in rebuilding Bolahun Missions Schools and renovating St Mary’s Church depends on us all. Please lets us put Bolahun First. God Bless.
